Röyksopp - The understanding (2005)

ganz tolle Electronica Platte. So toll, daß diverse Tracks gerne in der Fernsehwerbung eingesetzt wurden. paarordentliche Hits sind schon drauf, Allen voran "only this moment". Schön auch der erste Track, der Minimal Music artig anfängt und sich dann steigert. "beautiful day without you" und "Circuit Breaker" kommen so ein bischen Pet Shop Boys mäßig daher. "Follow my ruin" hat anfangs und zwischendurch ganz schreckliche Roto-Toms. Ich dachte immer, das Thema wäre mit "in the air tonight" ein für allemal abgefrühstückt. Allsamt bleibt der Track auf einem erschreckend eintönigen Level - kann weg.

Zur Band: Röyksopp (auch Røyksopp geschrieben; norwegisch für die Pilzart der Boviste; in diesem Fall eher Atompilz) ist eine norwegische Musikgruppe bestehend aus Svein Berge und Torbjørn Brundtland.
